Our advanced Sterile Processing Department (SPD) Management & Leadership program is designed for current and aspiring leaders in sterile processing. This course goes beyond fundamentals and focuses on real-world department leadership — operations, compliance, staff supervision, budgeting, communication, and survey readiness. Learners gain the knowledge and confidence needed to step into lead, supervisor, or manager roles and prepare for management-level certification.

Operational Leadership & Compliance
Practical training on regulatory standards, Joint Commission expectations, quality metrics, and day-to-day oversight of sterile processing operations. You’ll learn how to maintain safe, compliant workflows and lead the department through audits and inspections.
Team & Resource Management
Guidance on scheduling, staffing, onboarding, coaching, and performance support. We cover communication strategies for leading techs and working with OR, infection control, and supply chain — so you can run an efficient, reliable department.
Management-Level Exam Preparation
